Goal of this Website

I read somewhere that if you want to write fiction, one of the best things to do is to reserve your own domain name before you publish anything. You don't want to be the one who has to shell out hundreds of dollars to get your name back from someone who read your first book and decided "hey, this guy's going somewhere..."

But I'm not published yet, so I figured I should put up something on this webspace I'm inhabiting in the meantime. Who knows, maybe in a year or two I'll get my stories out there, hopefully sooner. Meanwhile, I'll learn a bit more about managing my own site and get to do some of those things I've always wanted to see done.

Besides, no writes in a vacuum. I can't really put up my current projects, but I'll put up some of the projects I've put together over the past few years. If you like them, let me know, but if you see room for improvement, let me know that, too. Here are a couple of poems, if you're interested:
